DR1-003-2, Seed pellet dryer, upflow with knock filter
Producers of seeds and pellets know that the filters of their dryers absorb a lot of dust. It is important that these filters are cleared on time. This dryer has been equipped with cylindrical knock filters that catch the dust and are automatically cleaned during the drying process. The main advantage of this is that the drying process can continue much longer and more often without interruption. That means you can dry your seeds more efficiently.
The dryer can be used for the drying of seeds from for instance tomatoes, gherkins, cucumbers, sweet peppers, melons, pepper and parsnip. In short, this dryer is exceptionally suited for:
1. Drying of primed seeds.
2. Drying of coated seeds.
3. Drying of pelleted seeds.
4. Drying of packaged seeds.
The hourly dehumidifying capacity is still improving because Seed Conditioning Enkhuizen is always looking for improvements in the parts we use.
Operation
This dryer is equipped with cylindrical filters to catch the dust generated during the drying process. An air valve is mounted above these filters which ensures that the filters can be cleaned during the drying process. The process is regulated automatically by means of pressure difference measurements. If the pressure becomes too high, the cleaning process starts automatically. This dryer is energy-efficient because it uses heat that is generated during the drying process.
Controls
The controls of the machine are very simple and operated by means of a touchscreen on the front of the dryer. This touchscreen is installed on the front of the dryer and has the option to set up to 8 passwords so multiple people can operate the machine securely.
